چکیده

The purpose of the work was to conduct a morphobiological analysis common pike (Esox lucius L.) from two reservoirs similar in their parameters and conditions, determine difference between populations these species due various anthropogenic factors. Sumy region has more slender body, as it is indicated by displaced dorsal (5.76) anal fins (9.19), larger body width (2.47) an enlarged tail stem (9.62), elongated head with snout upper jaw (6.10, 11.37, 4.9, respectively). Such signs may indicate that hunts for prey maximum size ac-cording specimen. indicators Kyiv are somewhat different predator makes very rapid fairly long-distance attacks on prey, despite obstacles such macrophytes other aquatic vegetation, which can be evidenced forehead (13.32), height (4.16) at nape neck (3.56). Also, big eyes (4.91) lower (9.89) speed jerks. Based biological indicators, we conclude fattened, confirmed measurements coefficients its fatness. Therefore, fleshier, which, first all, affects quality fish commodity. As re-gion, smaller fatness coefficients, greater expenditure energy obtaining food. This costliness, our opinion, related competition predatory — perch zander, reservoir, possibly reservoir itself, four times larger. We consider expedient diversify ichthyofauna Paryshkiv village, particular peaceful fish, order remove or reduce trophic predators.

Mitochondrial DNA variation in wild and hatchery populations of northern pike, Esox lucius L.

Esox lucius is an economically important freshwater species. Mitochondrial cytb, 12SrRNA, and 16SrRNA gene sequences were used in order to clarify the genetic variation and population structure in three E. Lucius populations, i.e., one Wild population (W) and two hatchery populations (Hatchery Population I-HPI and Hatchery Population II-HPII). A total of 55 individuals, with 19 from wild and 1...

Immunological and Ultrastructural Characterization of True Histiocytic Lymphoma in the Northern Pike, Esox lucius L.1

An epidemic of a malignant neoplasm occurs in northern pike, /„vo.v lucius L., from the Aland Islands of Finland. The neoplasm is morpho logically similar to other pike hernie tumors reported in other areas of the world. Pike normal tissues showed evolutionary conservation with the mammalian intermediate filament proteins cytokeratin, desinili, vimentin, neurofilament protein, and glial fibri...

The neoplastic cell type in lymphoreticular neoplasms of the northern pike, Esox lucius L.

The morphological characteristics of the cells of lymphoreticular tumors in the northern pike (Esox lucius L.) are described. The study was based on light microscopy of sections and imprints subjected to selected staining and histochemical procedures and on electron microscopy of thin sections. Neoplastic cells from tumors in different individuals as well as within a given tumor were remarkably...

Genetic characterization of 18 novel microsatellite loci in northern pike (Esox lucius L.)

The northern pike (Esox lucius L.), an important predatory freshwater species, is undergoing significant population decline. In this study, 18 novel polymorphic microsatellite loci were isolated and used for assessing genetic variation in the Chinese Ulungur and Hungarian Balaton populations of the species. The number of alleles ranged from 2 to 13, observed heterozygosity from 0.154 to 0.920 a...
